Create a space
A space is your community's home: name, network, strategies, quorum.
What a space needs
- An ENS name to live under, like
yourdao.eth. It is the space's id, in every link to it. The account that controls the name controls the space's admins. - A network: the chain your token lives on.
- At least one strategy: how voting power is counted. See Strategies.
- A quorum: the voting power a proposal needs. See Quorum.
The three steps
- Identity: the name, a description, a category and an avatar.
- Voting: the network, the strategies and their validations, the voting period and the quorum. Validations follow the same rules as Settings.
- Review: everything at a glance, before you create.
Creating a space from the app is coming. The wizard is ready, but sending the new space is not wired yet. Until then, the Raad team sets your space up with you: write to us from the landing page.
After it exists
Everything you chose can change later in Settings. To bring a space that already runs elsewhere, with its history, see Import a space.
